A. Your account will be setup automatically within 15 minutes of
ordering.

A. Yes, you may host your friends.

I run a small business and want to know if you can host my site?
A. Yes. Most certainly we can host
your site and in fact business sites are our speciality.

We have a large corporation and would like to know if you can host our
companies websites and if you are a reliable web hosting service?

speciality. Size is no problem - large or small.

Q. Do you allow adult or pornographic sites?
A. No! We DO NOT allow adult sites or pornographic sites of ANY nature
- Period!
We reserve the right to determine, cancel and delete any site of this
nature from our servers without warning.
Q. Do you allow hate or other such sites?
A. No! We DO NOT allow hate or
other such offensive sites of ANY nature
- Period!

Q. Do you allow download sites?
A. No! We DO NOT allow download sites
where the material being stored for downloading is illegal.
For example: - Sites such as illegal MP3 music
downloads and sharing, warez (pirated) software crack sites or illegal
distribution sites of any nature.
We reserve the right to determine, cancel and delete any site of this
nature from our servers without warning.
Q. Will you place ads on my site?
A. No. We will NOT place ads on your site.
Although we do have a very good affiliate program though if you are
interested in recommending our services to people and then earning a
customer lifetime residual commission from any sales made to that
person/s without even lifting a finger. Click

Q. Do you allow sites to advertise for money, on their web site?
A. Yes, we allow sites to have commercial advertisements.
Q. Are your server's Unix, or NT?
A. Our servers are Linux Red Hat 7.3. and Red Hat 9.0.
Q. Do
you offer telnet or shell access?
A. No due to security reason's we do not offer telnet or shell access.
You are still able to unzip files on the server using our file
manager as well as the ability to setup cron jobs.
Q. Can I password protect directories?
A. Yes you can password protect any of your directory's within the
cPanel included in your hosting package. All packages come with
cPanel.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept payments as follows: -

Q. Is tax included with my monthly or yearly plan?
A. For Australian residents goods and services tax (GST) is included within the price.
For all other countries there is no tax included.
It is up to each
individual account holder to determine and pay any applicable taxes.
We are not liable nor do we take any responsibility for your tax
liabilities.

How do I make a payment?
A. All online payments are recurring. Your payment will
automatically be deducted.
Q. Can I pay monthly?
A. Yes, you may pay monthly.
Q. Can I pay yearly?
A. Yes, you may pay yearly.

there any hidden costs, or hidden setup fees?
A. No

How do I get the 30-day money back guarantee?
A. Simply email us your username, password, and why you wish to
cancel within thirty days, and we will process your refund in 24 to 48
hours or less.

How do I stop billing?
A. If you wish to close your account simply email us your
username, password, and why you wish to cancel. You must also include
the exact following text - just paste and copy it into the email.

A. It usually takes 24-48 hours for a domain to fully propagate.
Q. What do I set my domains name server's to?
A. Please read your welcome email if you have lost your welcome email
you can email us requesting your
DNS.

Q. What control panel do you use?
A. The control panel we use is called cPanel. The default
"skin" or "look/layout" of cPanel that we use is
called cPanel X.

Can you explain cPanel a bit more please?
A. Yes. cPanel allows you to monitor the amount of bandwidth used, space used, create email addresses, sub domains,
MySQL databases, and much more instantly! It is very easy to use.

cPanel are you using?
A. Our servers automatically stay up to date with the most recent
stable cPanel version.
Q. Do you have a
demo for the cPanel control panel?

Q. Where do I go to login to my

A. To create an email account login to your control panel and click

Q. What do I put for both my Incoming and Outgoing mail
servers?
A. For both incoming and outgoing mail servers use the following...

...where the words "yourdomain.com" are
replaced by your own domain name.
Q. Where do I go to check my emails using my
browser?
A. Just go here to check your emails using your browser - internet
explorer or the like...

with your own domain name.
Q. How can I setup
Web Mail to go directly to Horde, Neomail or Squirrel mail?
A. Login to the one you prefer to use after doing so copy the entire
url from your address bar. You will now login to your cPanel and
create a sub-domain to go to the address you just copied.

Q. It's not letting me upload my files what's wrong?
A. Make sure you are uploading to the right web directory which is the

FTP password change when I change
my cPanel password?
A. Please allow 24 hours for your FTP password to sync with your
cPanel password.

A. Login to your cPanel and click MySQL Databases. After your database
is created you can manage it from phpMyAdmin. This can be found at the
very bottom of the MySQL page.

difference between Shared SSL and a Private SSL?

A. You will need to email us to do so and for this information.
Q. What's
the path to
the free shared SSL?
A. We need to activate
the shared SSL on each site manually that requires it. Please contact
us by email or phone - the details are on our contact form.
Q. I'm going to
purchase my own SSL what do I need to know?
A. Our servers are
Apache + Mod SSL If you require assistance from us to install it there
will be a $45.00 installation fee on top of the purchase price.
Q. How do I transfer
an SSL?
A. Every place that
sells SSL's has a different transfer procedure. You will need to ask
the supplier
you purchased it from.

Names

Q. Does BigBangWebHosting.com's web hosting come with a domain name included?
A. No. BigBangWebHosting.com's web hosting does NOT come with a
domain name included although we can direct you to to several very
reliable and easy to use domain name registrars including one of our
own.
We are not the cheapest hosting. We are reliable with great uptime,
good security and responsive helpful service.
Note:
BigBangWebHosting.com has an online downloadable video available on how
to register yourself a domain name with several of our recommended
domain name registrars. The videos are great should you need something
to follow step by step.

Sub-Domains
: Questions Answered
READ THIS BEFORE
SETTING UP A SUB-DOMAIN!
To create a sub domain
cPanel asks for the name you wish to use. MAKE
SURE the sub-domain name you give it doesn't have a folder already
named that name. If it does the sub will not work.
For example: - I want
to create the sub-domain test.BigBangWebHosting.com
- so my sub name is going to
be test.
If I already have a folder in my ftp named test
then I must
delete it or rename it to something different before I can create a
sub-domain with the name test from
cPanel.
Q. What is a Sub-Domain?
A. www.domain.com is a
domain name.
A sub-domain is anything that replaces the www in a domain
like...
name.forum.aol.com
this is a sub-domain.
www.forum.aol.com is
not a sub-domain.
Q. How do I make sub-domains?
A. To make a sub-domain login to your control panel and click "domain
management" inside of domain management you will see a place to manage
and add sub-domains.

Add-On Domains

Questions Answered
Q. What is an Add-On Domain?
A. An Add-On Domain is a
fully functional domain that will work out of a folder in your main
sites ftp.
READ THIS BEFORE
SETTING UP AN ADD-ON DOMAIN!
You cannot create an
Add-On Domain if your DNS hasn't propagated to the server already. So
after you change the sites DNS you are trying to add you will need to
wait 24-48 hours (rarely up to 72 hours) before attempting to create your
Add-On Domain.
There are three
fields cPanel asks for when creating an Add-On Domain.
1.
"New Domain Name:"
You will put in the name of
your new domain; i.e. newdomain.com
.
Do not put www
before or in the name!
2.
"Username/directory/subdomain Name:"
This will be the folder cPanel
creates in your main accounts ftp. MAKE SURE that the name you give it
doesn't already have a folder.
For example... If you want to give it the
username chris. You cannot have a folder in your account named
chris
already. If you do and still try creating the username for the add-on
domain to be chris you will mess a lot of things up!!!
3. "Password:"
Fill in any password you want here.
Q. I added an Add-On Domain so why did it say SubDomain added?
A. It creates it as a Sub-Domain by creating the folder within your main sites ftp. Please
ignore this! It is a fully functional domain name. It is only called a
Sub-Domain when in fact it is an Add-On Domain.
